Traveling from East Beach, turn right onto Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59)

Traveling from West Beach, turn left onto Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59)

Travel North approximately 5 miles (crossing the Intercoastal bridge)

At the intersection of Hwy 59 and Oak Road East (CR 6), Turn right on to Oak Road East (CR 6 Oak Road East (CR 6).

The zoo driveway is ahead on the left about a 1/4 mile down.

From the North

From I-10, merge onto AL 59 S via Exit 44 toward Loxley/Gulf Shores/Orange Beach

Travel South on AL 59 for approximately 24 miles

At the intersection of Hwy 59 and Oak Road East (CR 6), Turn left on to Oak Road East (CR 6 Oak Road East (CR 6).

The zoo driveway is ahead on the left about a 1/4 mile down.

This week's Wednesdays with Waylon, Waylon is having fun exploring the Tiger yard. His fun in the tiger yard was not only for exercise but to begin working on his recall training so we have a way to get him back to his keepers if he ever manages to slip out of his harness. What a great zoo! We were very pleased with everything about it. It’s clean, there’s plenty of restrooms, they let you bring in your lunch or you can stop and pick up something from a pretty good variety of snacks and sandwiches from machines or go to a cafe. My daughter liked the carousel as well! Note that the carousel and the experiences are extra costs so read up on those before you visit. 👍

We enjoyed our visit to the Zoo. The wife and I visit Foley Alabama three times a year. This was our first time visiting the zoo there. There wasn’t a line to get inside, and had a great experience. Can’t wait to visit again.😊

We loved our visit! Such an affordable option for a zoo. Plenty of animals to see. Loved how close you get to all of them. Very clean and tidy. Disappointed the tigers weren’t out though. But overall a fantastic experience! Our kids loved it.

Such a beautiful zoo! Very clean with ample restrooms and benches. There were so many animals to see which was very unexpected. We saw tigers, lyons, monkeys, giraffes, lemurs, many types of local birds, etc. For an extra fee, you can feed the giraffes and have an opportunity to get up close and personal with several different zoo animals.

There is a great little enclosed bird area with turtles where you can sit and watch the birds. They also have a great gift shop with wonderful gift items.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We had a great time watching the animals and will definitely be back!

Very nice small zoo. They offered feeding a giraffe for $5 during a certain time window…very worth it! It is a beautiful zoo, a nice layout also with a petting zoo of farm animals for small kids. They have a merry-go-round. You can take a small motorized car ride to see a few animals. Enjoyed the day at the zoo. Employees work hard and are very knowledgeable.
